Next Steps

The Board of Directors has formed a search committee with the goal of identifying Dominican’s next president by the spring of 2027, with a planned start date of July 1, 2027. To help ensure a smooth and successful transition, President Leanne Giese has graciously agreed to remain involved as a consultant to both Dominican and the incoming president during the 2027–2028 school year.

Celebrating Dominican, Present and Future

Under Leanne’s guidance, Dominican strengthened its academic programs, faith formation opportunities, athletics, arts, and student activities, creating an environment where students are challenged to grow intellectually, spiritually, and personally. Throughout her presidency, Leanne remained deeply committed to preparing students not only for post-secondary success, but also to become faith-filled, service-minded leaders.

Leanne led two successful capital campaigns that raised more than $13 million in support of Dominican’s future.
