In order to provide the best possible education, Dominican spends over $15,000 on every student each year. Over $3,000 of the actual cost to educate each student is offset through donations from individuals and institutions who generously give so that Dominican can continue to carry out its mission.

The remaining cost of education is paid through tuition and fees:

2019-2020 tuition and fees for freshman:

  • Tuition – $13,050
  • Activity Fee – $350

Students who have been accepted to Dominican may apply for financial aid starting in late winter. The financial aid application requires families to submit documentation to SMART AID, which is a third party company that helps to accurately summarize each family’s financial need. After the financial aid application deadline, which occurs in late March, the Financial Aid Committee meets to determine the aid award for each properly completed financial aid application. These aid awards come from a pool of money that is set aside for this purpose. These aid awards are not loans and do not require repayment.

Financial aid application opens October 1 and closes December 1.

As part of the admissions decision process, Dominican does award a small number of partial tuition scholarships to applicants based on academic merit, financial need, and the overall quality of the complete application file. Recipients of these scholarships will be notified of their awards in early spring.

Dominican does not offer any additional scholarship opportunities, but applicants are encouraged to reach out to their schools, churches, and other outside scholarship programs.
