Ways to Give
Dominican High School is grateful for every gift at every level and there are a variety of ways that your donation can make a difference to our current students. Whether you choose to support the school through an annual gift to the Scholarship Fund, a gift-in-kind to the Auction, a matching gift from your employer or a memorial gift in honor of a loved one, you are touching the life of a Dominican student and giving them an experience that will shape their future. Below you will find additional information on the many ways you can give back to Dominican.
What is the Annual Fund?
Dominican’s Annual Fund Appeal is a vital component of our overall budget, covering the gap between tuition and the true cost of a Dominican education. The Annual Fund provides:
- Tuition Assistance
- Quality campus ministry programs, service projects and annual class retreats
- Leading technology with a personal laptop for each student
- Rigorous curriculum including 10 Advanced Placement courses
- Individualized college planning and guidance
- Extra-curricular opportunities in athletics, theater, clubs and organizations
What types of donations are accepted?
Gifts of any amount to the Annual Fund can be made through a one-time gift or through a pledge payment on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. All forms of payment are accepted, including gifts of stock or securities or IRA Charitable Rollovers. Please contact Director of Advancement, Claudia Martin, to set up a pledge, monthly payments or a stock/securities gift: email@example.com or (414) 332-1170 ext. 177.
Dominican’s scholarship fund provides over $700,000 in financial assistance each year to students and families who require additional support in order to attend the school. Your gift to the Scholarship Fund has a direct impact on these students, their experience at Dominican and their preparation for college and a life beyond high school.
Planned gifts such as an estate bequest, IRA Charitable Rollover or Charitable Trust may allow you to make larger charitable gifts than you thought possible and ensures your legacy will live on through Dominican’s mission. Please contact Director of Advancement, Claudia Martin, to learn more: firstname.lastname@example.org or (414) 332-1170 ext. 177.
A strong endowment fund makes our school better by providing income for operational costs and scholarship support, and ensures the future of our school through financial security. Your endowment contribution is invested to grow the principal and provides additional income for future use. Dominican typically withdraws 3-5% annually from its endowment to fund scholarships which means your gift to Dominican’s Endowment Fund is a gift that keeps on giving.
Knight Vision 2.0 Capital Campaign
Dominican’s Knight Vision 2.0 Capital Campaign, to better enhance and highlight the exceptional Dominican experience we provide for our students, has three main funding priorities: Academics, Athletics, and Infrastructure. Our fundraising goal for Knight Vision 2.0 is $5,600,000 in support of the following initiatives: Science Classroom Renovations and Robotics Center; Artificial Turf Field and Outdoor Terrace on North Campus; Crowley Gymnasium Renovations; Expanded Fitness and Wellness Facilities; Infrastructure; and Endowment Growth.
