Theatre Camp 2023

Time: 9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
Grades: entering K5, 1st, & 2nd grade
Green Week (First Session): June 12th-16th (9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)
Black Week (Second Session): June 26th-June 30th (9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)

The Rising Star session is perfect for young stars in the making! Campers will discover their talents through the power of drama, arts, music, and dance. Our campers will create a 30-minute performance for the final day of camp.

Date: June 12th-23th
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Performance: June 23rd
Grades: entering 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th
Capacity: 75 campers
Cost: $380
 
The Groundlings campers will be separated into three groupings (Comedy, Tragedy, and History) and will participate in drama, music, improv, and dance classes every day. Throughout this two week session, campers will build a strong ensemble, gain skills in movement and teamwork, work with classic and contemporary text, learn songs from hit musicals and create 45-minute showcase to be performed the last day of camp.

Date: June 19th-July 14th (No camp on July 3rd or July 4th)
Time: 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Performances: July 14th and July 15th at 7:00 p.m.
Grades: entering 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th
Capacity: 30 campers
Cost: $600

 
The Troupe camp is a four-week session where campers collaborate with our counselors to create an original, full-length musical. Culminating in two performances, campers will focus on characterization, movement, and performance skills.

Date: July 5th-July 28th
Time: 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Performances: July 28th and July 29th at 7:00 p.m.
Grades: entering 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th
Capacity: 30 campers
Cost: $600

The Ensemble camp is a four-week session where campers workshop and rehearse a full-length musical performed at the end of the summer. Campers will be cast based on auditions that will take place the first two days. Culminating in two performances, this camp will emphasize the rehearsal process, including ensemble music, staging, and advanced choreography.
