What Is Knight Vision 2.0?

Three key influences inspired our Knight Vision 2.0 campaign theme:

Knight Vision 2.0 follows in the footsteps of the incredibly successful Knight Vision campaign in 2014 that had a dramatic and positive impact on Dominican High School.

Knight Vision 2.0 commits to an even brighter future, with a bold, new vision that will propel us toward creating the very best learning environment for our students both today and tomorrow.

Knight Vision 2.0 highlights our faith, our rich history, our tradition of excellence, and the values articulated by the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa of Truth, Compassion, Justice, Community, and Partnership.

The Vision

Campus improvements will directly benefit current students, parents, administrators and visitors, as well as encourage future families and students to join the Dominican High School community.

ACADEMICS

Knight Vision 2.0 will significantly enhance our science department to best prepare Dominican students for future study and potential careers in the STEM fields.  The campaign will provide outdoor space on North Campus for student learning, extracurriculars, class functions, and community engagements.  One of the most highly supported campaign priorities will be addressed by boldly committing to short and long-term endowment growth.

SCIENCE CLASSROOM RENOVATIONS AND ROBOTICS CENTER

  • Update final two science classroom
  • New Robotics Center for creative learning, competition, and summer programming

OUTDOOR TERRACE AND EDUCATION SPACE ON NORTH CAMPUS

  • Beautiful space for students before, during, and after school
  • Community engagement events and outdoor education space for teachers and students

ENDOWMENT GROWTH

  • Increase from current $1,700,000 toward goal of $5,000,000 for student scholarships

“Academic innovation is at the core of the Dominican mission.  Preparing our students to succeed in college demands that our curriculum challenges our students for tomorrow. The goal of Knight Vision 2.0 will give our students the resources they need to become leaders of our community and world.”

-Ed Foy, Principal & Current Parent
