Giving Programs
Dominican High School raises over $1,000,000 annually to support our mission of providing a quality Catholic, college-preparatory education based on the five core Sinsinawa values: truth, compassion, justice, community and partnership. Monies raised each year come from various sources including:Annual Fund Donations
Yearly appeals are sent to DHS alums, current parents, past parents and friends. Donations are used to support the general operating budget. Gifts to the Annual Fund may be made through cash, check, credit card, stock/securities.
Yearly Fundraising Events
Many individuals and/or businesses support Dominican High School through the underwriting of various programs, projects and materials. Additionally, participation in various special events held throughout the year is both encouraged and appreciated. Some of these events include: Knightwalk, Dominican Auction and the Crowley Golf Outing.
Employer Matching Gifts
Matching gifts are donations made by companies which match all or a portion of charitable contributions of their employees. Contact your Human Resources or Community Relations Department at work to find out if your company has a matching gift program.
Planned Gifts
Dominican welcomes planned gifts in the form of Bequests, Gift Annuities, Trusts and Life Insurance. We are equipped to assist donors who wish to include any of these in their estate planning. Making a Bequest or any other type of planned gift may offer tax benefits to you the donor and provide long term support for Dominican High School.
St. Dominic Society
Donors to Dominican High School contributing $1,000 or more annually are recognized as St. Dominic Society members. Donations are cumulative and include gifts to the Annual Fund Appeal, fundraising events and scholarship funding.
David Becker Society
Supporters of Dominican High School through estate planning are recognized through the David Becker Society, established by David Becker, Class of '76.
