While Dominican High School is located in Whitefish Bay, the student enrollment comes from throughout Milwaukee, Ozaukee and other surrounding counties. Currently, there are approximately 340 students enrolled in grades 9-12.Dominican is located in the village of Whitefish Bay, a few miles north of Milwaukee, and just blocks from both Lake Michigan and I-43. The neighborhood is a comfortable mix of residential homes and retail establishments. St. Monica Parish and School and Holy Family Parish and School are also located near Dominican High School.
Dominican High School's location makes travel by bus or car convenient for residents of the surrounding communities. Milwaukee County Transit System bus routes 10 and 15 stop near Dominican High School.

Driving Directions from the North:
- Take I-43 south to the Silver Spring Dr. exit
- Turn east (left) on Silver Spring Dr.
- Follow Silver Spring Dr. about 0.5 mile to Dominican High School
- DHS will be on the north side (left side) of the street
Driving Directions from the South:
- Take I-43 north to the Silver Spring Dr.-East exit (the interstate will exit on Port Washington Rd.)
- Turn north (left) on Port Washington Rd. (immediately get into the right lane)
- Follow Port Washington Rd. about two blocks to the first set of stoplights (this is Silver Spring Dr.)
- Turn east (right) on Silver Spring Dr.
- Follow Silver Spring Dr. about 0.5 mile to Dominican High School
- DHS will be on the north side (left side) of the street
During the school day, visitors should park in the visitor lot located on the west side of the school (Bay Ridge Ave.) and enter through the entrance at the top of the stairs.
