Dominican students are encouraged to get involved as much as possible, and there are more than ample opportunities to be part of what’s happening in athletics. We believe that the lessons learned on the court or field are important complements to the lessons learned in the classroom. Because Dominican is a small school that maintains programs similar to larger schools, there are more opportunities for each individual student. Most sports are non-cut, and athletes of all skill levels are invited to join our teams. Even with this policy, Dominican teams participate on the state championship level nearly every year.

Dominican High School is a member of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) and the Metro Classic Conference, which also includes, Catholic Central, Martin Luther, Racine Lutheran, Racine Saint Catherine’s, Shoreland Lutheran, St. Joseph Catholic Academy, St. Thomas More, and The Prairie School.
